"Debbie has managed my professional activities since 2009 shortly after I retired from my NHS appointment. The work that she has been responsible for has included my Private Practice as a Gastroenterologist and my work as an expert witness for the court in connection with cases relating to personal injury and medical negligence in the area of Gastroenterology.

The clinical work entailed liaison with the General Practitioners and hospital colleagues who referred patients to me and with the patients themselves. She had to maintain close contact with the management and staff at the two private hospitals in which I consulted. The work included secretarial responsibility for ensuring that clinics were appropriately set up, the typing of clinical letters, answering queries, billing, and maintaining and organising clinical notes. The legal work has involved contact with instructing solicitors and secretarial back up including typing of reports (dictation being emailed thus reducing the need to travel) and arranging for receipt of notes and emails, billing and making contact with other experts. The secretarial backup provided has been entirely satisfactory with good record keeping and has enabled me to give an efficient service.
